Fritz's partial bertillion. This'll be made into a full deviation when I can get my scanner back.
I messed with the levels to get the picture not so dark, but ended up making Fritz look too bright. Even in natural lighting, I wasn't able to get the right shade of red on him. He's a more natural greyhound red in my head than he is on paper. I've not gotten the right combinationof colors yet.
Very nice. I really think you did a good job on the anatomy from the slender waist to the powerful and large rib area. The legs look excellent too and so do the feet, especially the back ones. I like his markings and colours a lot, I think I can picture what sort of colour you said you meant at least but I love these vibrant orange ones.

I've had the character for over a year now and until I drew this, the only markings that had been solidified was the crooked stripe up his nose!
As for the color, this is what I have more in mind: [link] The dog is a red fawn.

One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter." --

Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
